This Privacy Policy explains how the Smoke Tracker mobile app ("the app", "we", "us") handles information. By using the app, you agree to this policy.
Information you create
Smoke Tracker is designed to be private. The information you enter — your quit date, smoking habit and price details, reasons to quit, notes, feelings, streaks, and history — is stored only on your device. We do not have access to it, it is not sent to our servers, and there is no account or cloud sync.
Information collected automatically
The app is free and supported by advertising provided by Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google and its partners may collect and process certain information, such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers (e.g. Apple's IDFA, where permitted), approximate location derived from IP address, and app usage and interaction data. This processing is governed by Google's policies:
On iOS, personalized advertising that relies on tracking requires your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized.
How information is used
We do not use your on-device data for any purpose other than providing the app's features. Advertising data is used by Google to deliver and measure ads, as described in the links above.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your on-device data with third parties. Advertising-related data is processed by Google AdMob as an independent service provider.
Data retention and deletion
Because your data lives on your device, you are in control. Deleting the app removes all data it stored locally. To manage advertising identifiers, use your device's privacy settings.
Children's privacy
Smoke Tracker is intended for adults who want to quit smoking and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
