- What is Tally?
- A build-your-receipt shopping calculator. Add items and prices as you shop and watch your running total against a budget, so you know where you stand before you reach the till.
- Is my data private?
- Yes. Your receipts, budgets, and saved items are stored only on your device. There is no account and no cloud sync.
- How does the budget work?
- Set an optional budget when you start a trip. As you add items, the bar fills and shows how much you have left — and your savings are tallied on the Stats screen.
- How do I hide the ads?
- Tally is free and ad-supported. From Settings (or the link under a banner) you can watch a short video to hide banners for 24 hours.
- Can I back up my data?
- Yes. In Settings, use Export to save a backup file you can keep or share, and Import to restore it on a device.
- How do I reset everything?
- You can clear your history from Settings. Reinstalling the app also removes all local data.
